Job Description
Overview:
Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of mechanical & electrical skills in an industrial manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have experience with fabricating machining and welding precision mechanical parts for production equipment creating part drawings and creating parts from engineering drawings. This position is also responsible for maintaining all fabrication shop equipment.
Heres what youll do:
- Fabricate/machine highquality metal components for immediate use and for stock
- Capable of intermediate to advanced set up of machining equipment with little or no supervision
- Fabricate production equipment such as conveyors and structural components and design/propose modifications to equipment to exact tolerances and specifications.
- Preform preventative maintenance on Lathes End Mills CNC Machines and other shop equipment.
- Train others in the use of welders metal shop equipment and shop safety
- Keep fabrication shop clean and equipment operating safely
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Support the site as needed
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Extensive knowledge of the different types and quality of metal used in an industrial environment
- Expert knowledge use and set up of the End Mill Metal Lathe and CNC Plasma Cutter
- Proficient in using MIG TIG and ARC Welders
- Perform quality checks on finished products using various quality and inspection tools and techniques. Verifies conformance of finished part to specifications/drawings.
- Able to follow verbal instructions as well as read interpret and follow blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications weld symbols bills of materials and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and components
- Analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills required
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Pay Range: $32.10$38.40. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
