Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range: up to 3000 USD
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:
A real estate investment and development firm focused on financial growth and strategic property management. The company is looking for a financial controller to oversee financial reporting budgeting and compliance while optimizing cash flow and supporting business decisions.
Position Overview:
The Controller will oversee financial reporting budgeting and cash flow management ensuring compliance with accounting standards and effective internal controls. This role is pivotal in supporting business growth and cost management strategies by providing insights and analysis on financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and present financial reports to senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the development of the companys annual budget financial forecasts and projections.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecasts providing analysis and recommendations.
- Identify key financial trends and guide decisionmaking for business growth and cost management.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow cycles.
Financial Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct indepth financial analysis to support strategic planning investment decisions and costsaving initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) to help drive business performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in related fields
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial insights to senior management.

- Experience working with real estate or construction companies.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards relevant to real estate.
