About the Role: Are you an experienced chef with a passion for Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine A private family is seeking a talented Yacht Chef for their summer journey along the stunning Turkish coast. As the yacht chef you will be responsible for crafting delicious meals that reflect the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean and Turkey all while sailing the beautiful waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve highquality Mediterranean and Turkish dishes for the family and their guests.
- Create diverse menus featuring local fresh and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure the galley is clean organized and adheres to health and safety standards.
- Manage provisioning and inventory sourcing local ingredients when possible.
- Cater to any dietary requirements and preferences of the family and guests.
- Collaborate with the yacht crew to ensure seamless service and hospitality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef specializing in Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine.
- Valid STCW (Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping) certification.
- Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
- Other relevant culinary qualifications and certifications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
