The Accounting & Tax manager of the Netherlands Solution Locations oversees the daytoday operations of employees who post and balance books of account such as cash book general journal sales book purchase register CAPEX register and General Ledgers. This individual acts as the accounting team leader and oversees the preparation of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements coding of invoices and vouchers with proper account distribution. The resource is also responsible for supervising tax reporting tax planning and compliance functions he or she supervises the completion of accurate tax returns and all tax/compliance obligations under US GAAP and local GAAP.
In this role you will be a key member to the EU Finance Leadership Team. Some key responsibilities include:
Manage closing financial controls compliance forecasting budgeting and process and project improvements.
Oversee the efficient operation and costeffectiveness of operating systems and programs.
Support and assist in the close process. Complete analysis; analyze information for accuracy and completeness under US GAAP and local GAAP;
Support and assist in the AOP process. Review cost center budgets. Ensure plan is accurate and realistic;
Ensure Finance compliance and always uptodate to new requirements for US GAAP and local GAAP (The Netherlands);
Support on Annual Accounts (The Netherlands) and constant tracking of entity registrations and compliance deadlines;
Support for Corporate Secretarial: completing standard legal procedures for directorships shareholders entity names and registered addresses;
Drafting customary legal documents;
Main contact with local tax advisors audit firms authorities etc;
Assist in the preparation of the AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) with other functions. Ensure the final analysis is complete and accurate.
Analyze product pricing to determine profitability; recommend adjustments.
Manage and lead the Finance team including performance appraisals delegating work meeting completion dates and ensuring consistent and quality work
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree preferable in Finance Accounting or related field or equivalent education and years of experience required.
Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting with P&L or related experience with 2 years prior supervisory or management experience.
Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/ or IFRS. Knowledge of MS Dynamics.
Experience in specialty finance functions such as reporting compliance and procurement.
Has welldeveloped project management skills.
Demonstrated capability in: adaptability critical thinking decision making taking and giving feedback and influencing others
Ability to lead contribute and influence others in a teambased organization
Ability to work well under pressure juggling multiple initiatives. Skilled in multitasking organizing and prioritizing work.
Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
