We are looking for our Milan office an experienced accounting professional with a solid technical foundation and indepth knowledge of the field.
What Youll Do:
- Manage all accounting activities including General Accounting AP AR tax compliance asset management cash management and closing processes ensuring adherence to IFRS and local GAAP standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Mazars external accounting teams (Barcelona and Milan) ensuring seamless and efficient collaboration.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions ensuring compliance with transfer pricing agreements and the groups policies.
- Analyze and report monthly financial data identifying key variances and providing clear solutionoriented insights to meet strict deadlines.
- Lead all audits including statutory tax and internal audits ensuring accuracy and timely completion in collaboration with external specialists.
- Build and optimize accounting infrastructure by streamlining automating and standardizing monthend and yearend processes.
- Act as the local finance point of reference providing support to colleagues and resolving financial and accounting issues.
- Support FP&A activities including budgeting forecasting variance analysis and data management within group tools (e.g. SAP and AfO).
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring to the Role:
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent with advanced knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP standards.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting management roles preferably in multinational companies with expertise in SAP (R3 or S4).
- English proficiency (Spanish/French are a plus)
- Strong technical skills in accounting and controlling with a compliancedriven mindset for working in regulated environments.
- The ability to work independently prioritize effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills capable of connecting financial and business dynamics to propose actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and with international teams.
- A proactive solutionoriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a strong sense of ownership.
- (Preferred) Experience with external service providers FP&A processes and a customercentric approach to supporting organizational goals.
