Job Description

  • Daytoday tasks within the operational goals and standards area with direct and longterm impact on the field of Operational Purchasing
  • Planning and coordination of operational purchasing related tasks including data extraction review followup data maintenance
  • Problem solving by updating and modifying existing working methods and improve the quality of service and data
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders / suppliers regarding operational purchasing detail maintenance and influencing the alignment

KPI:

  1. Deliver on agreed tasks with data quality on time
  2. Timely maintenance of the details pertaining to PO expediting activities
  3. Ensure prompt support visibility and quality of detail for Operational Purchasing
  4. Reduced data quality errors and overall KPI compliance
  5. Continuous improvement projects reduce time and cost to make decisions
  6. To ensure improvement of efficiency and data quality level systematically

Role and Responsibility:

  • Procurement operational purchasing support and related activities
    • Purchase Order expediting (PRPOGR management) including support for the Purchasing process
    • Purchase Order confirmation followup & update Delivery followup & update including supplier coordination for material delivery/shipment tracking followup reporting and issue resolution
    • Understanding of stock position in the system shortage followup and coordination for the same
    • Invoice mismatch issue resolution handling and exception identification
    • Coordinating directly with suppliers on PODeliveryInvoice processes as required
    • Master data quality monitoring coordination reporting and support data cleanup
    • Direct Communication Channel with all related teams
  • Data collection Reporting Data flow monitoring relating to master data & purchasing processes
  • Optimizing the support and processes for purchasing
  • Participate in global projects with global team and deliver results
  • Functional support for Global Procurement processes according to task assignments from global process owners
  • Adhoc operational support to ensure efficient Procurement processes
  • Flexibility to support in different time zones

Qualifications :

Education Required: Graduation

Gender:  Any

Professional Experience Required (Max Min.): 1 3 years

Technical Competence:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM.
  • Hands on experience in Purchase RequisitionPurchase OrderGoods Receipt management Exception invoice handling.
  • Good knowledge on Purchasing Master Data and related data maintenance processes like Purchase Info Record etc.
  • Communication / coordination with supplier will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of process improvement such as Kaizen Lean 6 Sigma and atomization.
  • Awareness on RFI/RFQ and related processes will be added advantage.
  • Good exposure to Microsoft tools such as Excel Word PPT Power App Teams and SharePoint.
