Director of Sales Packaging Division
Our client a leading player in the packaging industry is seeking a talented and ambitious sales leader ready to take on the role of Director of Sales. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead mentor and grow a team of 4 account representatives and 3 customer service representatives. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic sales plans identifying new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mentor and grow a team of 4 account representatives and 3 customer service representatives.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets.
Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any issues promptly.
Analyze market trends and provide insights to the team to stay ahead of the competition.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing production and finance to ensure alignment and achieve company goals.
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Stay updated with industry developments and trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
Train and develop team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
Manage and monitor sales performance providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the plastic and packaging industry with a focus on flexible packaging consumer packaging and food packaging.
Proven track record in managing and mentoring sales teams.
Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions.
Resultsdriven and customerfocused mindset.
Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field.
Willingness to travel as needed.
