Job Description
We are a dynamic and growing orthodontic practice in Edmonton seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with an orthodontic specialty to join our team. If you're an experienced and licensed Registered Dental Assistant with a passion for orthodontics patient care is a quick learner friendly and detailedoriented we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orthodontic Procedures: Change archwires and place aligner attachments. Assist with Invisalign iTero scanning. Take panoramic and cephalometric images. Take patient photographs for documentation. Make retainers and other orthodontic appliances.
- Patient Education & Communication: Educate patients on proper orthodontic care and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
- Charting & Documentation:Complete digital charting using Dolphin dental software. Ensure patient records are accurate and uptodate.
- Collaborative Teamwork:Work closely with orthodontists and other dental professionals in a supportive teamoriented environment. Maintain a high level of professionalism and engagement with patients.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 7:50 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation:
- $32 $36 per hour (based on experience)

Requirments:
- Experience: 1 years of experience as an RDA in an orthodontic setting.
- Licensure: Must be a licensed Registered Dental Assistant with an Orthodontic Specialty in Alberta.
- Proficient in digital charting and patient imaging (including panoramic and cephalometric Xrays).
- Familiarity with Invisalign iTero scanning and orthodontic procedures.
- Experience with Dolphin dental software is an asset.
