Job Description
Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire
Type of Hire: Contract to hire
Location of Work: Hybrid Must be able to work from Seattle Tukwila
Work Authorization: Green Card and citizen

About the Role
- We are seeking a Sr. DevOPs Engineer who is passionate about designing implementing and maintaining complex systems while driving strategic initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with strategic planning requiring the ability to create detailed roadmaps and execute them effectively to achieve organizational goals.
- The consultant will focus on understanding CLIENTS modern Test Environments and create a plan for Gateway application installation in preproduction environments followed by other application migrations to modern test environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and influence multiple teams in building configuring and maintaining systems and applications that support internal and external BECU business and technology customers.
- Collaborate with Principals Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to develop and share patterns and practices that enable SecurityasaService and shiftleft security implementing those patterns into systems design.
- Liaison between Principal and Senior Engineers to inform and develop new patterns and practices while educating the engineering organization.
- Architect design and implement scalable and secure systems aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure system reliability availability and performance by applying best practices.
- Build endtoend software delivery pipelines using continuous integration deployment and security principles with industryleading testing practices.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define document and align roadmaps with business strategies and stakeholder expectations.
- Write architecture dataflow and process documentation and articulate how products interact with other applications.
- Collaborate with business and systems analysts and software engineers to reduce silos in technology.
- Work closely with senior engineers from multiple teams to develop prototypes proofs of concept and solutions.
- Write unit integration and interoperability tests integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor product teams in test automation and recommend testing solutions.
- Drive telemetry improvements across the organization in collaboration with multiple product teams.
- Lead development testing and delivery of system components/services and participate in code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering operations and product teams to deliver milestones on time and within budget.
- Be available oncall to respond to issues or problems arising during nonbusiness hours.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Foster strong relationships across teams to ensure seamless system integration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum seven years of systems engineering experience with emphasis on automated testing and infrastructureascode.
- Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems (e.g. Azure DevOps Services GitHub Actions).
- Experience designing and implementing loosely coupled systems that are resilient manageable and observable.
- Expertise with multiple database technologies including cloud database offerings with the ability to write complex queries.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TestDriven Development concepts methods and tools with strong skills in unit testing integration testing and performance testing.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Experience presenting to technically adept and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to bridge security and delivery teams establishing shiftleft security practices including SecurityasCode and Continuous Security patterns.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams to improve system delivery and telemetry
