Job Description

The Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) Lead will play a vital role in overseeing the operations of Regional Security Operations Centers located at community colleges across the State of Arizona. This position entails collaborating with the SOC Manager to coordinate cybersecurity efforts manage daily operations and enhance the SOCs ability to detect prevent and respond to security threats. The ideal candidate should be detailoriented highly collaborative and possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.

  • Serve as a point of contact between the SOC Manager community college stakeholders and regional IT/security staff
  • Participate in regional cybersecurity initiatives and interdepartmental coordination

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to monitor and respond to security incidents
  • Experience in supporting cybersecurity policies and incident response protocols
  • Experience conducting training sessions workshops or educational initiatives for students or junior staff
  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security CISSP or CISM are a plus

Education Requirements

  • Experience is prioritized over formal education; however a Bachelors degree is preferred
