Job Description
Job Title: SAP BTP Architect
Job Location: Remote (USA) (requires onsite visits occasionally to customers location expenses will be managed by the employer)
Job Type: Fulltime
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Architect to design and implement innovative solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration Suite Extension Suite and Security enabling digital transformation and cloudbased enterprise solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise strategic thinking and handson experience in designing scalable secure and highperformance SAP BTP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture: Design endtoend SAP BTP solutions integrating with SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC SAP Fiori and thirdparty applications.
Cloud & Integration: Architect cloudnative applications and APIs using SAP Integration Suite Event Mesh API Management and CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
Application Development: Lead SAP BTP Extension Suite development including SAP Business Application Studio CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Model RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) and SAP Fiori/UI5.
Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for authentication authorization identity management and security using SAP IAS XSUAA OAuth and JWT.
DevOps & Automation: Define CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP applications using GitHub Jenkins and SAP Cloud Transport Management.
Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal system performance scalability and reliability across SAP BTP applications and integrations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business and IT teams to define roadmaps standards and governance models for SAP BTP adoption.
Innovation & Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP services AI/ML Business AI and LowCode/NoCode capabilities to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related fields.
8 years of experience in SAP technologies with 3 years in SAP BTP architecture and development.
Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite CAP RAP SAP Fiori/UI5 Node.js Java and ABAP.
Handson experience with SAP BTP Services including SAP HANA Cloud SAP Business AI and Workflow Management.
Deep knowledge of SAP security Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and API Management.
Experience with hyperscalers (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloud solutions.
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP BTP Certification (SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Extension Suite and SAP Integration Suite).
Experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP AI/ML services.
Knowledge of Kubernetes Docker and Terraform for cloudnative applications.
