Job Description
In collaboration with the team and with the support of a supervisor the selected person will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks:
- Carry out analysis and calculations under the supervision of an engineer;
- Use mechanical design software and modeling tools such as Catia Microstation;
- Apply calculation and design methods for mechanical equipment. Assist engineers designers and technicians in their technical tasks;
- Producer of technical reports and calculation notes;
- Perform the calculation of quantities for cost estimation;
- Participate in the preparation of reports specifications and quotes.
- Support the engineer or technician during onsite survey visits;
- Assist in monitoring site work as needed;
- Providing support to engineers and project managers.
Qualifications :
Qualifications required:
- Current bachelors student in mechanical engineering;
- Specialized courses in mechanical design;
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite;
- Located in Fredericton New Brunswick at the project site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual French and English;
- Curiosity and thirst to learn and surpass oneself;
- Interested in the field of mechanical engineering;
- Collaboration and communication skills;
- Rigor and sense of ethics;
- Ability to exchange and transmit knowledge;
- Interest in solving the most complex challenges.
