Job Description

As a Manager Product you will oversee the operational excellence and development of Product Owners and Product Designers in Sri Lanka ensuring their work aligns with the strategic goals defined by the global product team. This role emphasizes mentorship team management process improvement and crossregional collaboration to support the successful delivery of highquality products. You will play a key role in facilitating alignment and execution across teams.

What youll be responsible for:

  • Mentor Product Owners & Product Designers to support their professional growth and skill development.
  • Guide backlog prioritization and user story refinement to align with product goals.
  • Foster personal development through regular feedback goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Promote effective teamwork across our Sri Lanka and Canada product & design teams.
  • Contribute to hiring processes and ensure seamless onboarding for new team members.
  • Oversee teams remove blockers and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to drive alignment and productivity.
  • Optimize team workflows and processes for efficiency and alignment with best practices.
  • Coordinate tasks and timelines to prepare for smooth product releases.
  • Communicate updates and risks to stakeholders ensuring readiness across teams.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years in product management product ownership or a similar leadership role ideally in SaaS or tech environments.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members fostering growth and performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage crossregional teams and promote teamwork.
  • Skilled in identifying blockers and driving solutions to ensure team progress and alignment.
  • Ability to work effectively across geographically distributed teams and embrace cultural diversity.
