Job Description
JOB TITLE: Composite Mechanic
LOCATION: Kinston NC
PAY RATE: $34/hour
MUST BE US PERSONS
We are a national staffing firm partnering with toptier aerospace companies and we are seeking firstclass employees to join our clients teams!

Summary:
-
Assemble prefit and bond various metal composite or laminate parts and assemblies according to engineering and manufacturing specifications. Responsibilities include:
-
Laying out and cutting materials to size.
-
Operating autoclaves hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycles.
-
Sanding deburring and applying sealing resins to edges.
-
Utilizing layup tools (optical and hard) for composite and metal assembly fabrication.
-
Reading and interpreting prints charts sketches and work orders.
-
Using shop math and precision instruments to ensure work meets specifications.
-
Performing minor machine maintenance and ensuring equipment/tool certifications.

Supporting workflow by moving products within the manufacturing area and training other employees.

Performing rework or repairs as needed.
Required Skills:
-
2 5 years of experience in composites (aerospace experience required).

Ability to start immediately.

Local candidates strongly preferred.

Pay includes a $110/week per diem for qualified candidates.
