JOB TITLE: Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Moses Lake WA
SALARY: $56000 $77000/year

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Modify service repair and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
Interpret maintenance manuals service bulletins and wire diagrams.
Perform routine aircraft maintenance modifications and repairs.
Use and maintain avionics tools for repairs and installations.
Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies including marking securing and termination.
Troubleshoot test and repair aircraft systems using test equipment (e.g. Pitot Static Cart Navigation test sets).
Operate ground support equipment (e.g. GPUs HiReach).
Maintain accurate job documentation and reports.
Ensure clean and organized work areas.
Demonstrate regular attendance and professional conduct.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills:
Minimum 2 years of avionics experience.
Proficient with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
B1 B1.1 and/or B2 certification a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Mathematical aptitude for problemsolving.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently travel and handle overtime.
Physical Requirements:
Comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
Climb ladders lift up to 50 pounds (75 pounds with assistance) and work in confined spaces.
Perform tasks requiring precise vision and full hand motion.
