Job Description
Position: Contract Beautician/Barber
Location: Logansport State Hospital (LSH) Logansport Indiana
Employment Type: Contract (PartTime up to 18.75 hours per week)
Logansport State Hospital (LSH) is seeking a Contract Beautician/Barber to provide professional grooming and hair care services to patients. In this role you will play an important part in enhancing the wellbeing and selfesteem of patients through highquality grooming services. Flexible scheduling is available for this position with LSH providing all necessary tools and products for patient care and sanitation.
Perform a variety of grooming services including:
Haircuts
Permanents
SCurl treatments
Relaxers
Hair coloring
Hair setting/styling
Beard trimming
Maintain a current Indiana Barber/Beautician License throughout the contract.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director (or designee) to meet patient grooming needs.
Adhere to sanitation infection control and safety standards.
Assist LSH in maintaining an accurate inventory of hair care supplies.
Participate in required training programs such as Bridge Building and CPR.
Requirements
Licensure: Active and valid Indiana Barber/Beautician License.
Experience: Previous experience in providing hair care services including advanced treatments such as relaxers coloring and beard trimming.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Work Schedule
Parttime up to 18.75 hours per week.
Flexible scheduling available based on mutual agreement.
