Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a User Experience Expert (Drupal) fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Only European candidates will be considered for this role.*
Your tasks
- Analyze business needs in UX;
- Prepares quantitative and qualitative research and analysis in UX;
- Design UX and services for our online content;
- Build and customize Twig templates for Drupal;
- Develop and maintain CKEditor custom components;
- Develop and maintain Angular components and applications;
- Integrate RESTful APIs for dynamic data presentation;
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 10 years of specific expertise in HTML/CSS;
- Minimum 10 years of specific expertise in JavaScript and associated libraries (jQuery Ajax Json Gsap);
- Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Drupal themes (preferably Drupal 8/9/10);
- Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Angular/Typescript;
- Experience using Git and collaborative tools like GitHub or GitLab;
- Experience in SASS;
- Experience in Usability and accessibility standards;
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG);
- Understanding of multilingual setups and internationalization (i18n) for global projects;
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles;
- Familiarity with Twig templates and custom module integration;
- Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Webpack npm etc.);
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like JIRA Confluence;
- Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools;
- Familiarity with browser developer tools and performance optimization;
- Excellent command of the English language other European languages would be an asset.
