Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:

  • Champion Coworker Relations: Develop and implement programs that enhance employee relations and create a familyfriendly organizational culture.

  • Policy Leadership: Formulate interpret and recommend policies and objectives aligned with organizational goals.

  • Talent Management: Lead staffing and recruitment efforts ensuring best practices for hiring and retention while meeting the organizations strategic needs.

  • Employee Development: Supervise training programs and educational initiatives to enhance productivity across all levels of the organization.

  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve workplace issues including grievances disciplinary actions and working condition concerns while providing actionable recommendations.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the HR departments operating budget ensuring compliance with allocated resources.

  • Performance Management: Review and guide evaluations recommend personnel actions and drive onboarding initiatives to create a seamless newhire experience.

  • Leadership Training: Provide directors and managers with training and communication on HR policies and practices.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience in coworker relations human resources management or a similar leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of HR policies compliance and personnel administration.

  • Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to navigate complex employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.

  • Strong experience within a union healthcare environment is highly preferred

  • Experience in budget preparation and departmental resource management is a plus.
