Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to join an exceptional project team and contribute significantly to preconstruction processes. The role is pivotal in ensuring the success of diverse projects by developing detailed estimates and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed estimates from schematic designs through construction documents including procurement logs.
- Build and maintain trustbased relationships with clients and project team members.
- Prepare General Conditions and Construction Requirements estimates.
- Mentor and guide junior estimating team members to support their professional growth.
- Identify and assess project risks including contractual schedule and safety aspects.
- Support projects with precision and collaboration.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience in estimating preconstruction or related fields preferably in commercial construction or major subcontracting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. construction practices means and methods.
- Expertise in developing conceptual and programmatic estimates with limited information.
- Proficiency in preconstruction software such as Destini Estimator Onscreen Takeoff BIM and Excel.
- Familiarity with tools like Procore Revit and/or SketchUp is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Construction Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to manage preconstruction and estimating efforts for various project delivery types.
- Advanced understanding of 3D models for preconstruction activities.
- Excellent time management communication and collaboration skills.
- Resultsdriven attitude with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with design/build projects.
- Knowledge of integrated project delivery methods.
