Job Description
Detailoriented and customerfocused Parts Associate with experience in data entry inventory management and customer service. Adept at navigating computer systems for order processing sales entry and inventory tracking. Strong attention to detail and the ability to assist in warehouse operations as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Proficient in computer navigation including order entry product lookup and processing customer requests.
- Assist customers in selecting the correct parts by providing knowledgeable recommendations and support.
- Process sales transactions by entering orders into inventory systems obtaining payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through prompt and professional service via phone and email.
- Assist warehouse staff with order picking cycle counting shipping and receiving as needed.
- Accurately reference and retrieve parts from an extensive database for CNC machine products.
- Utilize SYSPRO or similar ERP systems to create accurate packing slips and enter order data.
- Assign OEM part numbers and maintain organized records of inventory and sales.
- Contribute to annual inventory counts and general upkeep of the parts department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a parts department or similar inventoryrelated role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist clients efficiently.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or SYSPRO is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC machine parts is a plus but not required.
