Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking Finance Officer to join their team.
The Financial Services Officer reports to the Financial Services Manager.
The Financial Services Team is responsible for the delivery of highquality financial services and responsive customer service and deliver finance services and administration that supports the activities of Colleges and Divisions.
This position is tasked with accounts payable accounts receivable purchasing and other administrative activities. The team delivers finance service operations to both internal and external stakeholders with a focus on high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing and procurement including preparation of purchase requests obtaining of quotes
Preparing journals accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for processing through Shared Services.
Processing and actioning travel requests
Maintenance of appropriate records documentation and filing systems
Prepare correspondence and liaise with clients creditors and staff
Following up of debtor accounts.
Perform relevant work with computer spreadsheets and databases;
Selection Criteria:
On offer is a 6 month contract at a highly sought after Government organisation with a highly competitive hourly rate.
