Job Description
This role is for one of the Weekdays clients
We re seeking a talented Backend Engineer to help build out our backend infrastructure and enable seamless efficient access to healthcare services. In this role you ll develop tools that empower doctors and hospitals to provide toptier care while also boosting the productivity of fellow developers and team members.
What You ll Do
- Build Backend Infrastructure: Develop and maintain a robust backend to support our core services.
- Develop Tools for Healthcare Services:
- Create and improve tools like the EHR platform telemedicine services cashless verification hospital portals and booking systems.
- Enhance Team Productivity: Build and maintain internal tools such as:
- A time machine for viewing database data history
- An inhouse link management system inspired by Googlestyle golinks
- Integrate with External Partners: Collaborate with vendors and partners including labs diagnostics centers hospitals payment gateways KYC solutions and analytics tools.
What You ll Need
- Proficiency in Go or similar strongly typed languages like C.
- Industry Experience: 2 years building highperformance distributed systems.
- Exposure to Development Practices: Knowledge of distributed build systems CI/CD staging/prod environments unit testing and code reviews.
Nice to Have
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and Firebase.
- Data engineering experience and an interest in ML.
