Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer you will:
- Work within a greenhouse engineering team typically composed of 68 skilled professionals.
- Design develop and implement technical solutions in accordance with project requirements and roadmap.
- Prepare and execute technical work packages ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Focus on software development using C/C with an emphasis on modern build systems (e.g. Bazel Blaze CMake).
- Contribute to the integration and release processes including using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Apply DevSecOps principles and maintain a strong quality mindset throughout the development lifecycle.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 810 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on algorithms and compilers.
- Proficiency in modern build systems (Bazel Blaze and CMake).
- Experience in caching and build distribution capabilities.
- Solid understanding of general software design and development principles including algorithm implementation and testdriven development.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with cloud tools such as Terraform Azure or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Source Code Management (SCM) systems and Git (e.g. GitHub ClearCase SVN).
- Experience in automated software integration and release processes using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Background in software development in similar environments such as embedded systems or RHEL is a plus.
