Who are we searching for
- Youre an experienced product leader with 7 years on product teams including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Youre passionate about solving challenges in the SME credit space in Africa.
- Youre skilled at implementing datadriven processes to translate vision into actionable roadmaps.
- Youve worked on scalable products with more than 1M users bringing deep technical and crossfunctional expertise.
- Youre a natural leader great at coaching and building highperforming teams.
- You have experience working on technology products in emerging markets.
Your responsibilities
- You will set the product strategy informed by customer needs industry trends and business priorities.
- You will act as a thought partner to the CEO translating business goals into actionable product strategies.
- You will monitor the competitive landscape to maintain the products edge in delivering value to SMEs and banks.
- You will align crossfunctional teams on product strategies and own the product roadmap.
- You will advocate for an interactive datadriven and usercentric product culture.
- You will manage the delivery of features across business apps internal tools and lending management systems.
- You will coordinate efforts across product squads and shared resources to ensure seamless execution.
- You will implement processes to improve team effectiveness and streamline product development workflows.
- You will empower marketing teams to make informed decisions on customer education pricing and gotomarket strategies.
- You will build and develop a worldclass Product team recruiting top talent and nurturing their growth.
- You will ensure all features have clear success criteria and tools to measure progress effectively.
- You will own the timeline and budget for the product development process.
To be considered you should have
- Proven expertise in managing teams and building scalable products for emerging markets.
- A track record of leveraging product analytics to optimize features and improve customer outcomes.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines including engineers product managers designers and researchers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A forwardthinking mindset with the ability to drive results in fastpaced dynamic environments.
