Job Description

Mechanical Service Technician

About The Job

The primary role of this position is to provide the best After Sales Service available installing inspecting and maintaining equipment at the customer site as well as training the customer and their employees

on the daily operation and troubleshooting of the equipment. The Technician is also responsible for continuing to learn about the equipment after the requisite training period by studying the manuals and drawings.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

Deep knowledge of tissue converting Industry with at least 5 years experience on Tissue converting machines for Consumer and Away from Home roll products.

Following clients safety procedures and working safely.

Commissioning line by adjusting machine sections and processes etc. for proper operation.

Assisting clients with retrofits and afterinstallation care.

Providing training to the client on the proper operation and adjustments for effective and safe operation.

Participating with company in making the modifications necessary to optimize equipment for efficient operation.

Overseeing machinery installations.

Organizing and staging equipment for installation and directing onsite workflow.

Rigging installing assembling and aligning machine sections.

Training the clients maintenance team in proper maintenance and troubleshooting.

Recording and submitting accurate detailed reporting and complete time sheets.

Continuing to improve skills to install troubleshoot operate and maintain machines more effectively.

Learning the machines and schematics to allow more effective operation and troubleshooting.

Confirming correcting and writing procedures as needed with client.
