Job Description
Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plan and execute largescale IT projects including infrastructure upgrades software implementations network installations and other technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders technical teams and external vendors to define project requirements set expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope timelines milestones resource allocation and risk management strategies. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues develop mitigation strategies and resolve project challenges to keep initiatives on track.
- Manage crossfunctional teams consisting of developers engineers analysts and other IT professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee project budgets track expenditures and ensure resources are effectively allocated to meet project goals.
- Ensure that IT solutions meet defined business requirements and quality standards conducting regular testing and validation before deployment.
- Maintain project documentation including project plans status reports risk logs and issue trackers. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Continuously assess and improve project management processes methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in IT project management with a focus on largescale IT projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation through to delivery including managing scope timeline and budgets.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure software development and systems integration.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Scrum etc.).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira Trello Asana).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities to handle complex IT challenges.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and thirdparty contractors.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to maintain focus in a fastpaced environment.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications preferred.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure) and IT service management (ITIL) is a plus.
- Masters degree in Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
- Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g. CSM PMIACP).
- Experience in cybersecurity infrastructure modernization or enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
