- Manages all aspects of assigned projects including development of fullscale project plans schedules progress budget risk management issue management resource management quality review/best practices and evaluation framework
- Directs daily project activities effectively communicates project expectations and coordinates the work of the members of the project team to ensure activities meet or exceed needs and expectations
- Develops tracks and maintains project documentation during all stages of the project lifecycle
- Proactively identifies and manages changes to project scope and develops contingency plans as required
- Supports the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback input and expectations and incorporates recommendations into project plans
- Champions a codesign approach to ensure the voices of clients families frontline staff and partners drive projects from conception to completion
- Provides regular updates to the leadership and other stakeholders as required through project reports presentations
Qualifications :
- 7 years Project Management experience in healthcare
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology Computer Sciences Engineering Health Care/ Informatics or Business Administration
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
- Must have knowledge of Project Management methodologies and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Conversant in various tools for project management project planning and time tracking e.g. Primavera MS Project MS Excel MS Visio WBS Pro and Eclipse
- Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies is an asset
- Proven ability to lead plan implement and manage projects and initiatives in a healthcare setting
