We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our thriving dental practice in Chelmsford United Kingdom. As a vital member of our team you will play a crucial role in providing highquality dental care and promoting oral health to our diverse patient base.
- Days: Monday Tuesday and Wednesday
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene treatments including scaling polishing and root planing
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anaesthesia and place temporary fillings as needed
- Collaborate closely with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Utilise digital radiography and 3D scanning equipment for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist in the management of dental emergencies
- Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and therapy practices
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Dental Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Valid GDC registration as a Dental Hygiene/Therapist
- Current licence to practise as a Dental Therapist in the United Kingdom
- Proven experience in a dental hygiene and therapy role
- Proficiency in using digital radiography and 3D scanning equipment
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current dental hygiene and therapy practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements
- Empathetic and patientcentred approach to care
- Keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs

Nursing cover cannot be guaranteed but a permanent decontamination nurse is available.
