Job Description
As an Economist you will play a critical role in providing insights and analysis to support our carbon markets business. You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting market trends calibrating model inputs and generating and communicating highquality clientfacing outputs. Your analytical skills will be instrumental in delivering bestinclass analytical outputs to carbon market participants across the ecosystem.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Monitor and analyse carbon market trends regulations and policy developments.
- Calibrate model inputs based on evolving market conditions and priorities.
- Generate highquality clientfacing reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with modelling teams to ensure model accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct indepth analysis of market data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support business development activities by providing market insights and expertise.

KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated driven and have a passion to be part of a fastpaced successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions using Excelbased modelling.
- Experience in creating clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of sustainability topics such as carbon markets and energy decarbonisation pathways is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software a bonus (e.g. Excel R Python).
- A selfstarter with strong project management skills capable of managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
