Laboratory Intern - Eurofins Built Environment Testing - Fort Mill SC

This position serves as an entry level internship position working in the PLM TEM and IAQ departments.  Internship is a full time temporary position with the potential to extend part time through the school year. Intern will assist all areas of the laboratory with administrative and basic laboratory tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning and maintenance of equipment sample handling and login sample preparation and general administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

       Regular attendance and punctuality

       Assist with quality control administrative tasks

       Receive customer correspondence and direct the information to the appropriate personnel

       Prepare samples for analysis

       Log in client samples

       Stock laboratory supplies

       Maintain clean and prepare glassware and other laboratory equipment

       Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications :

Education/Experience (BMQ):

Pursing an Associates or Bachelors degree in physical or life science.  

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

Strong computer scientific organizational and problemsolving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivated and a positive attitude

Handle moderate stress

Detail oriented

Ability to follow instructions and comply with SOPs

Effective communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Adaptability to work in varying laboratory environments

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English

Pay rate: $16/hour with flexible work schedule to fit class time. 

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes the actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience and skill set base salary of internal peers business sector and geographic location.
