Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wafer yield engineer is responsible for 1) wafer yield characterization 2) facilitate yield improvement 3) Wafer Fab to Backend communication and FA as well as:
- Data analysis to characterize the dependence of wafer performance/yield on wafer parameters
- Facilitate or manage wafer yield improvement projects
- Coordinate the FA for Backend related wafer issues
- Communicate with Backend for wafer issue and change
Qualifications :
RREQUIRED
- PhD MS in materials science physics EE or relevant area
- Twoyear experience working in magnetic recording head
- Strong knowledge and experience of wafer processes
- Knowledgeable in the magnetic recording head hard disk drive or semiconductor industry
- Experienced in data mining and data analysis. Proficient in use of JMP or other statistic tools
- Familiar with 8D and FA method
SKILLS
- Strong and creative problemsolving skills
- Strong communication skills. Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of colleagues and managements
- Good project management skills
