Position Summary: Creating and developing new product designs and patterns for HIMACS and VIATERA as well as the Surfaces Division as a whole. Aiding marketing and sales team by providing marketing resources and concepts for new products and giving presentations internally and externally to promote new products.
Role Description:
The creation development analysis and research of new product designs and patterns for HIMACS and VIATERA. Tasks may include but are not limited to researching market and design trends analyzing market trends and customer requirements improving existing products and collaborating with product managers and engineers.
Generating color & pattern samples for product development and customer meetings (THD Lowes etc)
Aiding marketing and sales team by providing marketing resources and concepts for new products and giving presentations internally and externally to promote new products.
Ideating for innovative production technology to enhance design and manufacturability of new products. Collaborating with technical team on executing innovative production technologies

Education and Work Experience:
Undergraduate degree in textile graphic interior industrial design or related field.
Less than 2 years experience (newly graduated designer).
Knowledge and Skills:
MS Office Programs (Excel Word PowerPoint etc.)
Adobe Photoshop
Illustrator
Design related software programs
Interpersonal skills
Detail Oriented
Organizational Skills
Initiative skills
Problem solving skills
Great Oral and Written Communication Skills
Physical Demands:
Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.
Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
