Job Description
Title: Business Intelligence Specialist ETL
Location: Toronto ON
Mode: Contract
Must Haves:
- Supports Clients wideranging business information requirements implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions
- Demonstrates experience designing and developing BI Reports Dashboards and other Business Intelligence solutions using Cognos 10 or higher and Microsoft Power BI
- Demonstrated experience advising on existing data sets models and transformations to enhance business intelligence reporting
Experience in ETL processes particularly as it relates to migrating data into Power BIcompatible formats. Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g. SSIS Informatica)
Responsibilities:
- Supports Clients wideranging business information requirements implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions
- Develops and supports customized query applications which analyze key business data
- Develops and supports guided analysis and drilldown functionality routine scheduling and notification of report generation and effective implementation of opportunity and keytrend alerts.
- Provides Clients with approach options and tools for managing businessrelated data in a manner that assists in quantitative analysis of progress and the relationship between operational actions and their effect on business objectives.
- Familiarity with Oracle database structures SQL Server and their respective features. Understanding of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Develop presentations for various audiences as required.
- Work with the business and IT areas to complete any activities required to accomplish above and other deliverables as required during the assignment.
- Transfer skills and knowledge to selected OPS staff.
