Major Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is onsite and will reside in the greater Seattle WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Skilled in multiple functional domains.
- Generate creative solutions to technical problems.
- Network knowledge including Firewalls (Layer 27) IDS/IPS VPN DNS DHCP and web application security in complex environments.
- Experience supporting deploying and tuning Palo Alto
- Experience supporting and deploying Unified Threat Management platform solutions.
- Experience creating log repositories and reviewing logs from all systems.
- Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities in logs and activity.
- Fluently translate complex technical information to/from nontechnical audiences.
- Constructive approach to problem solving and risk mitigation.
- One or more scripting languages for task automation.
- Upgrades systems by implementing and maintaining security controls.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Network security and/or cybersecurity foundations.
- Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Familiarity with OWASP.
- Working knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle best practice.
- Experience supporting and deploying Check Point or Palo Alto firewall devices.
- Knowledge and experience with F5 Big IP devices.
- Experience in Network WAN administration including routing protocols; BGP OSPF in multisite networks.

Additional Information :
Expected base salary: $130000 to $175000
