We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Runnymede District United Kingdom. As a Care Professional you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalised care and support in their homes.
- Offer companionship and engage in friendly conversations with clients
- Assist with household tasks such as washing up laundry and preparing simple meals
- Support clients with personal care including help with washing and dressing
- Accompany clients to social calls appointments clubs and hobbies
- Assist with shopping trips and light gardening tasks
- Prompt and assist clients with their medication as required
- Encourage clients to maintain their independence and participate in activities
- Provide emotional support and create a positive environment for clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the management team
- Collaborate with other care professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients
Qualifications :
- Live locally in or near Runnymede District
- Possess a full driving licence and have access to a car
- Demonstrate high reliability and ability to commit to regular contracted hours including every other weekend
- Have the right to work in the UK (DBS check will be conducted)
- Exhibit a warm heart and caring nature
- Professional or personal experience in giving or receiving care is valued
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience and ability to work with diverse clients
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
- Empathy and understanding towards the elderly and those with care needs
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining client dignity and respecting their privacy
