Job Description

 

The position is offsite (area: Somogy county).

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Execute agreed sales plans achieving SIP targets set for the area and ensure the implementation of country GTM strategy.
  • Collaborate with the local sales team (SE Sales Reps and Promoters). 
  • Demand generation at grower level promoting Syngenta products on a strong technical basis.
  • Use SFDC and other tools to fix grower demand closing the loop and ensuring the expected intensity and effectiveness in the field work.
  • Account planning and forecast in SFDC taking responsibility for local sales plans and reliability of figures uploaded in the system.
  • Technical sales follow up demonstrating deep product and technological (agronomy) knowledge developed continuously.
  • Monitor and report all the market phenomenon influencing sales results with special respect to competitor activity.
  • Develop partner basis managing grower data in SFDC.
  • Handle customer complaints focusing on mutual interest of costumers and the company.
  • Operative coordination of the work of promoters working in the area providing a healthy SECP balance during their daily work. Contribute to promoter target setting.
  • Trial (demo and SBS) management providing quality data for technical development and marketing.
  • Organize field events and winter presentations to promote our products.
  • Work closely together with distributors in the area providing product availability and channel support.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and participate crop teams upon request.

Qualifications :

  • BA/MSc degree in Agriculture
  • Deep agricultural (technology) and product knowledge
  • Market excellence with special respect to competitors and channel
  • Sales technics and competency in demand generation
  • Computer literate and excellence in usage of different digital support tools
  • Advance level in MS Office 
  • Previous sales experience in the market of Agri inputs
  • Grower experience
  • Working at suppliers with strong market and partner knowledge
  • Teamwork: ability to work closely with the management and other functions
  • Good communication (negotiation) and presentation skills
