About the Role
As an Information Security Engineer you will:
- Implement and configure advanced security tools across domains such as network security identity and access management server security and cryptography.
- Conduct design reviews threat modeling and ensure a secure development lifecycle (SDL).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to manage risks monitor threats and mitigate vulnerabilities using Zero Trust Principles.
- Lead incident response efforts and champion compliance with industry standards like ISO27001 and NIST.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging threats and drive continuous improvement in security practices.
What Youll Bring
- 5 years of experience in security engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT security principles and cloud security (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO27001 COSO SABSA or NIST.
- IT security certifications such as CISSP CISM or CRISC (preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical and nontechnical teams.
