Stage - Radioactive Waste Management Consultancy

During your internship youll be given a unique opportunity to develop allround experience in the nuclear decommissioning radioactive waste management and disposal industry. Youll work in small teams alongside worldclass experts and be given ample opportunities to learn develop expertise and grow into the role early in your career.

Youll have the opportunity to provide services to clients on an international basis and deliver highquality research while building and maintaining strong client and project team relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support on quality technical projects or in a timely costeffective manner in accordance with regulations and internal procedures.
• Deliver written work and research on a wide range of industry regulatory and policy projects in the UK and overseas.
• Support presentation of research and findings to clients and or workshops where necessary.
• Support Project coordination in accordance with company standards and guidelines (training provided).
• Support development of tender proposal to win new contracts
• Develop and maintain knowledge management tools to support our business development activities

Qualifications :

Essential requirements:

• Final year of MSc in nuclear quantitative earth sciences applied mathematics physics chemistry or engineering or youll hold a BSc alongside relevant experience.
• Ability to deliver highquality work with excellent attention to detail within tight deadlines.
• Excellent time management prioritisation and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent presentation interpersonal and communication skills using English language. Use of French language is a plus.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Radioactive waste management planning/options assessment disposal nuclear safety and related fields
• Modelling particularly with respect to site characterisation groundwater flow gas transfer and/or contaminant transport in geological media 
• Project and contract management experience.
• Coding skills (e.g. Python C).
