We are seeking an Senior Piping Designer to lead the installation design for assigned areas within onshore process units. This role reports directly to the Principal Piping Designer for the designated area.
Location: Tarragona Espaa.
Work Modality:Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Gain proficiency in and adhere to all applicable job specifications piping classes standards and work instructions relevant to assigned tasks.
- Define and review equipment and installation arrangements with the required level of detail.
- Develop piping studies and create 3D models for equipment and piping.
- Optimize designs by reviewing and commenting on 3D models.
- Verify isometric drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Review vendor drawings for assigned equipment and provide comments.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless design interfaces.
- Update master documents track modifications and ensure the inclusion of required design changes based on input from other departments.
- Perform piping studies and define support systems for assigned areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree Technical Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
- Industry Expertise: Engineering services experience in the Chemical Refining or Petrochemical sectors.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and/or Spanish.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in E3D SP3D AutoCAD and MicroStation.
