Job Description
We are hiring aSenior Middleware Specialist IBM MQfor a 6month project with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients team remotely in Europe. In this roleyou will manage and optimize middleware services ensuring reliability scalability and automation of IBM MQ and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in and enhance the entire service lifecyclefrom inception and design to deployment operation and continuous improvement.
- Analyze ITSM activities on the platform and provide feedback to development teams regarding operational gaps and resiliency concerns.
- Support services before they go live by conducting system design consultations capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Maintain live services by proactively measuring and monitoring availability latency and overall system health using automated alerts.
- Ensure sustainable scaling through automation and drive improvements that enhance reliability and velocity.
- Implement effective incident response strategies and conduct detailed postmortems to prevent future issues.
- Take a holistic approach to problemsolving by analyzing the entire technology stack during production incidents to minimize mean time to recovery.
- Collaborate with a global team spanning multiple geographies and time zones.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to foster growth and technical excellence.
Essential Skills
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong in algorithms data structures scripting pipeline management and software design.
- Expertise in debugging code optimization automation and analytical problemsolving.
- Skilled in handling critical situations and making urgent decisions.
- Proficiency in Python Go Bash largescale system troubleshooting and automation.
- Experienced in crossfunctional teamwork across development operations and product teams.
- Handson with Git/BitBucket Jenkins Chef and CI/CD pipeline optimization.
- Familiarity with IBM MQ Kafka NATS or similar technologies is a plus.
