Highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Administrator with 10 years (relevant 6 years) of handson experience in managing Azure environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up configuring and optimizing Azure environments to support our organizations data and analytics initiatives. Additionally the candidate should have expertise in capacity planning and resource optimization to ensure efficient utilization of Azure resources.

Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and maintain Azure environments
• Configure and optimize Azure resources including virtual machines storage accounts networking and security settings to ensure high availability scalability and performance.
• Implement best practices for security compliance and governance in Azure environments including identity and access management data encryption and auditing.
• Perform capacity planning and resource optimization to ensure optimal utilization of Azure resources and costeffective provisioning of compute and storage resources.
• Monitor Azure environments for performance availability and security using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and other monitoring tools. Proactively identify and address issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical workloads.
• Configure Manage and Monitor IaaS Azure components.
• Configure Manage and Monitor of Azure Network which includes VNets Subnets UDR Peering NSGs Firewalls Gateways VPN Load balancers Private Endpoints and Vent Integration.
• Azure Automation account for scheduling tasks
• Troubleshooting performance issues N/W latencies using tools like Network watcher
• Manage and monitor IaaS deployments by Log Analytics workspace.
• Provisioning VMs (Windows & Linux) or Azure PaaS services manually and/or using ARM Templates.
• Configure and manage Azure Storage Accounts
• Monitoring and alerting on operational changes made to the resources.
• Configure log analytics workspace for all resources log and audit management.
• Azure ARC for onpremises server management.
• Manage patching using Azure Update Manager
• Manage billing and cost optimization
• Disaster Recovery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
• 6 years of experience in administering Azure environments
• Handson experience in setting up and configuring AVD PowerShell scripting & automation via scripting
• Proficiency in capacity planning and resource optimization techniques to ensure efficient utilization of Azure resources.
• Strong understanding of Azure security compliance and governance principles including identity and access management data encryption and auditing.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for monitoring and troubleshooting Azure environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred
