Our client a new Silicon Valley based profitable B2C product startup building innovative mobile solutions for the planet is now looking for an Infrastructure Engineer.

About project and position:
Based in Silicon Valley and backed by toptier VCs is a new mobile innovator delivering exciting new products for consumers across the planet.
The company has a flagship VPN application that drives 10M MAUs. There are others in the portfolio as well as others in development.
About Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability scalability and performance of our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will focus on configuring and managing servers monitoring systems debugging and troubleshooting to maintain and improve system uptime and efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Configure and deploy new servers to meet the infrastructure and operational requirements.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems to ensure the health and performance of servers and applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot system and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve deployment processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain documentation for configurations processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in configuring and managing servers in Linux
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana or similar.
- Strong understanding of debugging and troubleshooting techniques for physical systems and networks.
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible Puppet or Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or similar.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- English Intermediate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Handson experience with managing and optimizing server
- Experience with server setup and management tasks ensuring individual servers operate efficiently and reliably
- Familiarity with VPNs and network security principles.
- Experience with setting up monitoring debugging and troubleshooting for Linux servers
- Relevant certifications in server management or networking.
