Job Description

A highly established financial institution is seeking a proactive and resultsoriented Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition partnership building and market expansion. This role requires a dynamic individual who can promote the company’s products and services foster relationships with stakeholders and identify new business opportunities in the credit reporting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Development:
    • Promote the company’s products and services to prospective local clients.
    • Follow up with customers throughout the sales cycle and collaborate with internal product and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  2. Market Research and Opportunity Identification:
    • Stay informed about the latest market and industry trends.
    • Identify new potential clients and uncover opportunities for business expansion.
  3. Partnership Development:
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners to strengthen the company’s data ecosystem.
  4. Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
    • Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  5. Government/Regulatory Relationship Management:
    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with regulators including the Credit Information Corporation (CIC).
  6. Operational Support:
    • Assist with daily operations during the business's early phases to ensure smooth functionality and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise:
    • At least 3 years of experience in the credit reporting/scoring industry.
    • Familiarity with financial institutions within the credit reporting sector.
    • Strong plus: knowledge of alternative data players and ecosystems.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to engage effectively with clients partners and regulators.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Fluent in both English and Tagalog with strong writing and speaking abilities.
