For our client a prominent financial institution we are seeking a Cloud Engineer to play a crucial role in designing and operating cloud solutions driving the adoption of Microsoft Azure and ensuring a seamless and secure cloud foundation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative cloud transformations in the financial services sector while working with stateoftheart technologies.
Tasks
- Work within an agile Scrum team to implement a secure cloud foundation in Microsoft Azure.
- Actively participate in the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure (CAF) and the development of Landing Zones.
- Implement and operate the Azure platform including the creation and update of landing zones policies and platform services.
- Collaborate closely with cloud architects and enterprise architects to ensure that the implementation of the Azure platform aligns with the overall architecture and governance standards.
- Support the operation of the cloud platform addressing bug fixes updates and optimizations as needed.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic cloud services including networking IaaS and configuration management.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure: IaaS PaaS network services security services (e.g. Defender) and Azure AD.
- Experience in cloud migrations and cloud adoption as well as DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) preferably with Terraform.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a solid understanding of cloudnative tools and services.
