Job Description
Job Title: Low Voltage Project Manager
Location: Los Angeles CA 90063
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Good Possibilities of extension)
Skills Required:
The PM will possess knowledge and experience in customer service; decision making; flexibility; interpersonal skills; leadership; organizational awareness; problem solving reasoning; team building; oral communication speaking and writing; business process reengineering; capital planning and investment assessment; contracting/procurement; costbenefit analysis; financial management; planning and evaluating; project management; quality assurance; requirements analysis and risk management; configuration data and information management; information resources strategy and planning; information technology architecture; information technology performance assessment; infrastructure design; systems integration; systems life cycle; and technology awareness.
Skills Preferred:
- Strong expertise using Microsoft Project Visio and Auto CAD.
Experience Required:
- This classification requires a minimum of five (5) years of broad extensive and increasingly responsible PM project experience applying project management (PM) principles methods techniques and tools.
- At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
Experience Preferred:
- 3 years of experience in low voltage infrastructure construction with private or public agencies.
Education Required:
- This classification requires the possession of
- Bachelors degree and Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) which will be verified during the RFO process.
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a yearforyear basis.
- The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.
Additional Information:
- Home office will be 1112 N. Eastern Ave LA with travel requirements to various County locations. Must have a valid CA drivers license without restrictions.
- Schedule is Monday through Friday with the possibility to telework one day a week after 6 months onsite per managers approval.
