Job Description:
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Certification Manager to lead the certification process for regional electrical doubledeck trains (CORADIA MAX). The role involves defining certification strategies managing regulatory compliance coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely approvals to support project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable For:
- Defining and overseeing the Certification Management Plan.
- Developing the Certification Plan identifying and validating legal requirements.
- Managing relationships with Certification Assessors and Bodies (NoBo AssBo DeBo).
- Securing Authorization to Run in Test phases.
- Ensuring successful Passenger Approvals (APOM APIS).
Responsible For:
- Selecting and clarifying certification requirements in line with project needs.
- Defining and validating means of proof to demonstrate compliance.
- Collecting organizing and maintaining certification evidence.
- Evaluating documentation for compliance and consulting experts when needed.
- Leading and managing the assessment process.
- Preparing and submitting certification documentation to stakeholders and managing Q&A sessions with authorities and assessors.
- Producing and finalizing the certification conformity table.
- Ensuring test area access requirements (tracks infrastructure) are met.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in certification management within the rail industry or a similar domain.
- Indepth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (NoBo AssBo DeBo).
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in compliance documentation and regulatory assessment processes.
- Ability to work effectively in highpressure environments with tight deadlines.
