Job Description
Job Title : Power BI Developer
Location : Mohali
Work Shift: UK (1:30 10:30 PM IST)
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will transform complex data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports facilitating informed decisionmaking across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Analysis & Modeling : Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and develop data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
Dashboard Development : Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
DAX & SQL Proficiency : Utilize Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to create complex calculations and measures and perform SQL querying for data manipulation and extraction.
Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers analysts and other stakeholders to acquire clean and transform data for reporting purposes.
Performance Monitoring : Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor them consistently to provide insights into business performance.
Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports and dashboards. Provide training and support to endusers on best practices for using Power BI.
Continuous Improvement : Stay uptodate with the latest Power BI features and trends implementing best practices to enhance reporting processes.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development including report and dashboard creation.
Strong understanding of data modeling data visualization concepts and database management.
Proficiency in DAX for creating calculations and measures.
Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Familiarity with Microsoft BI Stack tools such as SSRS SSIS SSAS and Azure services is a plus.
Excellent analytical thinking skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
