Job Description
On behalf of a largescale energy and utilities firm in Dublin we are looking to hire a Senior Tax Specialist.
The Senior Tax Specialist will sit in Group Tax working predominantly across strategy acquisitions and compliance for the UK & Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementation and monitoring of Tax Governance Framework.
- Work with and advise stakeholders across all business units on a range of operational tax issues and transactions.
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and VAT returns for UK and Irish entities.
- Drive process improvements coordinate group tax relief and support tax data collection.
- Collaborate on tax strategy and optimize procedures for efficiency.
Requirements
- CTA from the Irish Tax Institute (an Accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential).
- 5 years experience across Practice and/ or Industry.
- Strong compliance knowledge and team player.
- Strong technological and analytical capabilities such as knowledge in Power Query Altryx SAP or similar.
