We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Group Editor to lead our Business Group in Saudi Arabia overseeing flagship brands such as Construction Week Facilities Management Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) and Plant Machinery Vehicles (PMV). Reporting to the Head of Business and Technology this role requires a seasoned editorial leader with the ability to drive growth maintain editorial excellence and strengthen audience engagement across the group s portfolio.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing multiplatform business content in print digital video and events alongside an indepth understanding of the construction and facilities management sectors. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Editorial Leadership: Develop and implement an editorial strategy for the Business Group that aligns with the company s goals for audience growth brand leadership and revenue generation across print digital video and social platforms.
- Content Creation & Oversight: Oversee the production of accurate timely and engaging B2B content ensuring it meets the needs of diverse audiences in the construction facilities management MEP and PMV industries.
- MultiPlatform Strategy: Ensure content strategies are tailored to succeed on digital print social media and video platforms while maintaining the brands voice and meeting audience expectations.
- Commercial Collaboration: Work closely with the commercial team to identify and develop sponsored content opportunities partnerships and new revenue streams that align with editorial integrity.
- Industry Representation: Represent the Business Group at industry events awards conferences and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and build strong relationships within the sector.
- Event Support: Collaborate with the events team to develop and execute successful events including awards summits and roundtables ensuring alignment with editorial objectives.
- Innovation & Growth: Continuously explore new formats technologies and trends to keep the Business Group at the forefront of the industry.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Editorial Leadership: At least 5 years of experience in editorial management within the Business or B2B publishing industry with a strong focus on the construction or facilities management sectors.
- Strategic Thinking: A resultsdriven leader capable of creating and executing strategies that achieve audience and revenue growth.
- Content Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create and oversee highquality content tailored for print digital video and social platforms.
- MultiPlatform Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEO analytics and audience engagement strategies for digital publishing with a track record of successful implementation.
- Team Management: Strong leadership and mentoring skills to manage a diverse editorial team effectively.
