Job Summary for Senior Draftsperson
Position Overview
- Job Title: Senior Draftsperson

Main Purpose of the Role
The Senior Draftsperson will develop review and modify detailed 2D and 3D plant layouts and drawings for mining and minerals processing projects. This role requires extensive experience in plant layout proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel and adherence to industry design standards.
Key Responsibilities

Drafting and Design:
- Create review and modify detailed 2D and 3D plant layouts and drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel.
- Utilize Autodesk Plant 3D and other Autodesk AEC Collection software to develop advanced models and layouts as needed.

Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate design documentation that meets project requirements.
- Translate engineering concepts and specifications into comprehensive technical drawings.

Site Visits and Field Alignment:
- Conduct site visits as required to gather data and ensure designs align with field conditions.

Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all drafting work complies with industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintain and manage the drawing database ensuring proper documentation and version control.

Support and Reporting:
- Assist in preparing project proposals and technical reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience:
- Extensive plant layout drafting experience in the mining and minerals processing industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel and familiarity with Autodesk Plant 3D and the AEC Collection.

Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in developing detailed and accurate 2D and 3D layouts.
- Strong understanding of industry design standards and specifications.
- Knowledge of drawing database management and version control.
